As the city’s first-ever speakeasy dry bar, we’ve spent over 13 years perfecting the art of flawless blowouts, styling, and white-glove service in an intimate, private, and rejuvenating environment. We are known for exceptional results, premium vegan haircare products, complimentary touch-ups, and a touch of champagne or mimosa with every service.
The Role
We’re seeking a reliable, experienced Team Lead who can run daily operations, lead our talented stylist team, and deliver an elevated client experience. This is a hands-on leadership role — you’ll still style clients while mentoring the team and ensuring smooth, professional service every day.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and motivate the stylist team during peak hours while maintaining efficient client flow and professional service.
Uphold Blowology’s exact signature blowout and styling standards across the entire team.
Manage scheduling, inventory, opening/closing, and day-to-day operations.
Train and develop stylists on techniques, luxury client protocols, and high-end professionalism.
Handle any client needs or escalations with calm, professional, solution-focused leadership.
Foster a positive, drama-free salon culture with zero tolerance for unprofessionalism.
Support sales goals through premium service and product recommendations.
Requirements
Active, valid California Cosmetology License (in good standing)
2–3+ years of professional hairstyling experience with strong blowout/styling skills in high-volume environments
At least 1 year of demonstrated leadership experience (formal or informal mentoring, running shifts, or team lead)
Proven ability to stay calm, professional, and results-driven under pressure in a luxury setting
Availability for evenings and weekends (our busiest times)
Passion for discretion and excellence with high-profile clients
Strongly Preferred
Experience in high-end salons, blow dry bars, or celebrity-adjacent environments
Track record of improving team performance, client retention, or operational efficiency
What We Offer
$50,000 – $75,000 per year (based on experience) + tips
