Duties

Perform professional hair styling, braiding, and hair extension services tailored to each client’s unique preferences and needsConsult with clients to recommend suitable hair care routines, coloring options, and styling techniques based on their hair type and desired lookMaintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all workstations, tools, and equipment in accordance with industry regulationsUtilize salon software such as MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficientlyProvide expert advice on hair coloring, hair threading, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and nail care to enhance overall client satisfactionUpsell retail products including hair care items, styling tools, and accessories to support clients’ ongoing beauty routinesMentor junior team members or apprentices to foster skill development and uphold salon standardsManage front desk responsibilities such as greeting clients, answering inquiries, and coordinating appointment flow seamlesslySkills

Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a strong portfolio of hairstyling and braiding techniquesProficiency in salon software platforms like MINDBODY for scheduling and client managementExpertise in various hair services including coloring, extensions, hair threading, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and nail careKnowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staffSkilled in store management tasks such as retail sales math, inventory control, and upselling strategiesExcellent communication skills for effective client consultation and team collaborationAbility to mentor others while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced settingFamiliarity with barbering tools like straight razors is a plus for versatile styling optionsStrong understanding of color theory to achieve optimal results in coloring servicesExperience with cosmetology or barbering licenses is highly desirableJoin us if you’re passionate about transforming looks while delivering outstanding customer service! Pay: $25,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
