Shampoo/Salon Assistant

Wild Honey is hiring a salon assistant! We are a busy upscale hair salon located in Old City Philadelphia that is highly focused on the guest experience. As the salon assistant you are an integral part of the Wild Honey team by assisting stylists in taking care of their clients and helping with other salon duties such as keeping the salon clean at all times, laundry and inventory.

Compensation: 12+ an hour with ability to earn bonuses

Availability: 2-3 days a week (must be available some weekends and evenings)

Salon DutiesStylist stations set up for every guest

Aware of when a stylists service is ending so you can tidy up station and ensure it’s ready for next guestShampoo area neat and clean after every shampooCapes and towels are updated, folded, put awayBowls and brushes cleaned and put backImmediately cleaning any color that gets on chairs or floorsSalon floor sweptAnything out of place is put awayOpening and Closing standards followedLight inventory & lifting boxesAnticipate stylists needs and be one step aheadHelp other team members when applicable
Required skills:

Exceptional Customer Service skills
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to interact clearly with guests and stylists in person over phone, email, and text message
