Seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Shampoo Assistant. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the client experience by providing exceptional service and support during hair care treatments. This position requires a passion for the beauty industry, strong customer service skills, and adequate shampooing skills
Responsibilities
Assist stylists by preparing clients for services, including shampooing and conditioning hair.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shampoo area and salon.Sanitize tools and equipment to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.Stay updated on personal products needed for certain hair typesQualifications
Previous experience in a salon setting is preferred but not required; please have some shampooing experience or strong willingness to learn and to learn quicklyKnowledge of barbering techniques, hair styling is a plusStrong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.A proactive attitude towards learning new skills.Must be able to work flexible hours, may include some evenings and some Saturdays as needed.Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
