Key Responsibilities Provide expert hair cutting and styling services for men and women across various hair types and textures. Perform advanced color services, including balayage, ombre, highlights, global color application, and color correction. Conduct thorough client consultations to understand their needs, preferences, and hair goals. Educate clients on hair care, styling techniques, and product recommendations to maintain their look at home. Stay current with the latest trends in hairstyling, cutting, and coloring techniques through ongoing education. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-equipped workstation. Build and maintain a loyal client base through exceptional service and personalized attention. Uphold the salon's standards for professionalism, hygiene, and customer service. Assist in the training and development of apprentice stylists or junior team members. Collaborate with fellow stylists and management to ensure a cohesive and positive salon atmosphere. Requirements Must possess a valid Missouri Cosmetology License. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a licensed Hair Stylist, with a strong focus on advanced color specialization. Proven expertise in a wide range of cutting techniques and contemporary styling. In-depth knowledge of various hair coloring systems and techniques, including correction. Exceptional client consultation and communication skills. A portfolio showcasing a diverse range of hair transformations is highly desirable. Ability to work independently and manage a full client schedule. A passion for the beauty industry and a commitment to continuous professional development. Understanding of salon operations and client service best practices. Experience with extensions or specialized treatments is a plus.
