The Senior Hair Stylist engages with guests to understand their hair care needs, providing expert recommendations on products and services. Your role encompasses delivering exceptional services while assisting with performance tracking and customer satisfaction. PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Performance

Deliver hair services including haircuts, color, styling, treatments, and makeup applications. Achieve weekly sales targets and contribute to the overall performance goals of the store. Engage guests with product demonstrations to enhance their shopping experience. Assist in executing promotional events that provide an outstanding guest experience. Stay updated on industry trends, products, and services to better serve guests. Maintain consistent attendance. People Foster strong guest relationships through personalized consultations. Efficiently serve all guests, including walk-ins. Collaborate with skin therapists and retail teams to enhance the guest journey. Build partnerships with peers and brand partners to enrich the guest experience. Promote the guest loyalty program and related benefits. Participate in ongoing training and meetings for professional growth. Process Ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty's standards and policies. Adhere to safety and sanitation protocols in accordance with state regulations. Utilize booking systems for scheduling services and consultations. Communicate supply needs effectively to ensure guest readiness. Maintain salon cleanliness and operational standards. Follow loss prevention practices while delivering excellent guest service. Assist with additional tasks as directed. JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education Valid cosmetology license. Experience Previous relevant experience is essential. Skills Expertise in contemporary salon techniques. Proficient in using salon equipment and products. Strong sales and customer engagement abilities. Good communication skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Strong customer relationship-building skills. SPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
WORKING CONDITIONS Active mobility is required during shifts. Frequent lifting and movement may be necessary. Capable of standing for extended periods. Engage in physical activities throughout shift.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.80 per hour or based on services performed. Pay is determined by education, qualifications, experience, and location. Full-time positions qualify for benefits including paid time off and health coverage, while part-time positions can expect dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
