This role is ideal for a stylist with a passion for creating voluminous and beautifully colored hair transformations. You will be responsible for expertly applying various types of hair extensions (tape-in, hand-tied, keratin bonds) and providing advanced color services, including custom formulations, highlights, and balayage. Key Responsibilities Perform seamless application and blending of various hair extension methods. Provide expert color services, including root touch-ups, full color changes, highlights, and creative coloring techniques. Conduct thorough consultations to assess hair condition, extension suitability, and client color goals. Educate clients on proper care and maintenance for both their natural hair and extensions. Ensure the highest standards of sanitation and safety in all procedures. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in hair extensions and coloring. Maintain accurate client records and manage appointment scheduling efficiently. Build and maintain a loyal clientele through exceptional service and artistry. Potentially assist in mentoring junior stylists interested in extension and color specialization. Requirements Cosmetology license in the state of Utah. Minimum of 6 years of experience as a licensed stylist, with at least 3 years specializing in hair extensions. Proven expertise in multiple hair extension application methods (e.g., tape-in, hand-tied, fusion/keratin bonds). Advanced skills in hair coloring, including color theory, formulation, and correction. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client consultation and satisfaction. A strong portfolio showcasing successful extension applications and color transformations. Ability to work independently and manage a busy schedule. A passion for enhancing clients' hair and confidence. Knowledge of hair health and best practices for preserving natural hair integrity.
