Key Responsibilities:
Perform advanced hair coloring services, including highlights, balayage, ombré, color corrections, and full color applications, ensuring precise and stunning results. Provide expert hair cutting and styling services for all hair types and textures, catering to diverse client preferences. Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and hair history, offering tailored advice and solutions. Educate clients on hair care maintenance, product recommendations, and future styling possibilities. Stay current with the latest trends in hair color, cutting, and styling techniques through ongoing education and industry events. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment in accordance with salon standards. Build and maintain a loyal clientele through exceptional service and consistent delivery of high-quality results. Assist in training and mentoring junior stylists and colorists, sharing expertise and best practices. Represent the salon brand professionally and contribute to a positive and collaborative team atmosphere. Manage appointment schedules efficiently and ensure punctuality for all services. Promote salon services and retail products to clients. Qualifications:
Cosmetology license in the state of Michigan. A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a dedicated hair colorist and stylist. Proven expertise in advanced color theory, techniques, and application. Proficiency in a wide range of cutting techniques for various hair lengths and textures. Strong understanding of hair and scalp health. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A creative flair and a strong portfolio showcasing diverse color and styling work. Experience with luxury or high-end salon environments is preferred. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required. Commitment to continuous professional development and skill enhancement.
