Duties

Manage your own beauty services including hair styling, coloring, extensions, eyelash extensions, nail care, makeup application, hair threading, and barbering treatments.
Provide personalized consultations to understand client needs and recommend suitable services and products.
Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in your booth according to industry regulations.
Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY for scheduling appointments, managing client information, and processing payments efficiently.
Upsell retail products related to hair care, skincare, cosmetics, and nail supplies to enhance client satisfaction and increase revenue.
Deliver excellent customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and fostering strong client relationships through effective communication skills.
Keep detailed records of services performed and follow up with clients for future bookings or product recommendations.
Stay updated on current trends in hair styling, color theory, makeup techniques, and retail sales strategies.
Collaborate with salon management on store operations when needed and participate in mentoring or training new team members.

Skills

Proficiency in hair extensions, color theory, straight razor shaving, and advanced hair styling techniques.
Experience with salon software such as MINDBODY or similar platforms for appointment management.
Strong knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
Expertise in cosmetology or barbering licensure as required by local regulations.
Excellent communication skills to engage clients effectively and promote retail sales through upselling strategies.
Ability to perform eyelash extensions, nail care services, makeup application, and hair threading with precision.
Store management capabilities including retail math skills for inventory control and sales tracking.
Customer service orientation with a focus on building repeat clientele and delivering memorable experiences.
