Salon Stylist Professional

SUMMARY:

Personable, talented Hair Stylist to join our spa team. Excellent opportunity for a stylist who enjoys creating beautiful blowouts and personalized guest experiences. While an existing clientele is welcome, we are equally interested in professionals who are passionate about building relationships and growing through exceptional service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESQUALIFICATIONS

Must possess a current CT Cosmetology License.
Perform professional shampoo, conditioning, and blow-dry services.
Deliver exceptional guest service.
Maintain a clean, attractive, and sanitary salon workstation.
Work in collaboration with the spa reception desk team when not performing salon services.
Adapt service offerings based on guest needs, stylist’s qualifications, and business requirements while

QUALIFICATIONS:

To be successful in this job, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or equivalent. CT Cosmetology License

LANGUAGE SKILL

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals; must be able to communicate effectively with guests and fellow associates. Must have good communication skills and be able to communicate and write English.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Basic math skills. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must be able to stand up to 7 hours, be able to push, pull, tug, and lift up to 40 lbs. Physical dexterity.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Small, charming, 2-chair salon.

AVAILABILITY:

The employee must be able to work a diversified schedule that may include last-minute scheduling. Shift hours will differ in length of time.
