The Gardens At Barry Road is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced licensed cosmetologist to operate our on-site salon within a vibrant assisted living and memory care community.

What You’ll Do
Provide a range of salon services tailored to seniors, including:
Hair washes and cuts
Perms and color services
Sets and styling
Manicures and pedicures
Nail shaping and basic nail care
Basic facials
What We’re Looking For
Current Cosmetology License (Missouri)
Experience working with older adults preferred
Experience or comfort working with individuals with dementia strongly preferred
Patient, kind, and adaptable personality
Ability to create a calm, respectful, and dignified experience for residents
Strong communication and customer service skills
Important Details
This is an independent contractor opportunity (not an employee role). Stylist is responsible for:
Setting service prices
Scheduling appointments
Collecting payments directly from residents
Providing and maintaining supplies (products, tools, etc.)
Services are primarily for our resident population
