Salon Biyoshi is seeking an experienced, organized, and business-minded Salon Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations, support our leadership team, and help drive continued growth.

This is a true management role. The ideal candidate has strong experience leading employees, holding teams accountable, improving systems, and following through on business priorities.

We are especially interested in someone who also brings marketing, sales, and technology skills and is comfortable working with business metrics, digital platforms, and promotional initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily salon operations and support a positive, professional team environment
Work with salon leaders to ensure responsibilities, policies, and standards are consistently followed
Address employee, scheduling, and operational issues and escalate major concerns to ownership
Support hiring, interviewing, onboarding, and employee development
Monitor salon goals, KPIs, and sales performance
Identify opportunities to improve service sales, retail sales, rebooking, retention, and guest experience
Coordinate business projects, deadlines, meetings, events and salon calendars
Oversee marketing planning and work with the social media team on promotions, campaigns, and events
Monitor marketing performance, Google Business presence, and website accuracy
Coordinate website updates and other digital business platforms
Help improve systems and processes as the salon grows
Handle escalated guest concerns and support guest recovery
Maintain strong communication with ownership and salon leadership
Assist with vendors, supplies, and other administrative needs as appropriate

Sales & Marketing

This role helps support Salon Biyoshi's continued growth and should be comfortable:

Reviewing sales goals and performance
Supporting service and retail sales initiatives
Planning promotions and marketing campaigns
Helping improve client retention, rebooking, and engagement
Coordinating community events and business outreach
Reviewing social media and digital marketing performance
Identifying new opportunities to attract and retain guests

Technology & Systems

Strong general technology skills are important. This position works with scheduling/POS software, spreadsheets, reporting tools, digital calendars, social media, Google Business, website platforms, recruiting sites, and other business systems.

Qualifications

2+ years of management or operations leadership experience
Experience directly supervising and holding employees accountable
Strong organization and follow-through
Strong written and verbal communication
Comfortable working with sales goals, KPIs, and business performance
Marketing, social media, or business-development experience strongly preferred
Strong computer and technology skills
Experience with hiring, scheduling, onboarding, or employee development preferred
Salon, spa, hospitality, retail or service-industry experience is a plus

Schedule & Compensation

This is a full-time position. Availability should align with the needs of a busy salon and may occasionally include evenings, Saturdays, education, or special events.

Competitive compensation based on management experience and qualifications. Benefits and additional compensation details will be discussed during the interview process.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
