Part-Time Salon Operations Coordinator

Wisp at 1051 Salon | Wilmington, NC

Schedule: 25–30 hours per week
Compensation: $18–$21 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

We are seeking a dependable, organized, and self-motivated individual to join our team!

This is more than a front desk position. We're looking for someone who takes ownership of daily salon operations, anticipates needs, and helps create an exceptional experience for our clients and stylists.

Key Responsibilities

Manage appointments, scheduling, phone calls, and client communications.Provide exceptional customer service, including greeting clients and handling checkout.Assist with basic bookkeeping, daily financial reconciliation, and recordkeeping.Promote retail products, gift certificates, and salon services.Maintain salon cleanliness, including laundry, sweeping, tidying, and organizing common areas.Monitor inventory, restock supplies, and maintain retail displays.Assist with opening, closing, and general administrative duties.Identify and handle everyday operational needs independently.Qualifications

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.Friendly, professional, and welcoming personality.Strong communication and customer service skills.Comfortable with computers, scheduling software, and basic financial tasks.Confidence in retail sales and client interactions.Willingness to perform cleaning and other hands-on responsibilities.Dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.Previous experience in a salon, administrative, hospitality, or retail environment is preferred.
