About the role:
Cookie Cutters is the nation's leading children's hair salon franchise, known for its themed styling chairs, engaging décor, and a genuinely stress-free experience for kids and parents alike. As Salon Manager, you're the heartbeat of the location — responsible for team performance, guest experience, business results, and daily operations. This is a rare opportunity to run your own shop with the support of a national brand behind you.
What you'll own:
Recruit, train, coach, and retain a high-performing team of stylists — set performance expectations and lead by example on the floor
Deliver a consistently exceptional guest experience; resolve escalations with empathy and professionalism
Perform children's haircuts, leading and maintaining the brand's quality and safety standards
Manage staff scheduling, payroll inputs, and labor efficiency to hit salon targets
Own KPIs: average ticket, retail attach rate, rebooking rate, and guest satisfaction scores
Manage product inventory, ordering, and loss prevention
Drive retail sales, membership/loyalty program enrollment, and upsell initiatives
Open and close the salon; ensure cleanliness, safety, and brand compliance at all times
Review daily/weekly reporting, communicate results to ownership, and action gaps proactively
What we're looking for:
Valid Texas Cosmetology or Barber License (required)3+ years salon management experience, preferably in a high-volume environment
Proven ability to hire, develop, and retain service staffTrack record of hitting or exceeding revenue and retail sales targets.
Natural warmth with children and parents; calm under pressure in a busy salon.
Comfortable with POS systems, scheduling software, and basic reporting.
Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
Reliable, organized, detail-oriented — you treat the salon like it's yours.
