Salon (Saloon) Managers are the heartbeat of our Hair Saloon locations. As a Saloon Manager, you set the tone for your store, your team, and the guest experience every single day. You’ll work closely with the corporate team to develop talent, grow a profitable business, and deliver a consistently exceptional experience for every guest who walks through the door.

We believe the #1 driver of job satisfaction is a team member’s manager, and we take that responsibility seriously. This role is ideal for a licensed hair professional who loves leading people and building strong teams, and who still enjoys being behind the chair as part of the business.

Note: An active Missouri cosmetology and/or barber license is required for this full-time position.

What You’ll Do

Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team in alignment with Hair Saloon’s core values, standards, and cultureRecruit, hire, train, and retain top talent for your saloonConduct regular coaching conversations and performance evaluations to support team growth and accountabilityPerform premium men’s grooming services to Hair Saloon standards approximately 75% of the timeOversee daily operations including scheduling, inventory, quality control, store finances, and facilitiesEnsure an exceptional guest experience by supporting our guests in selecting services, styles, and productsBuild lasting relationships with guests, team members, and corporate partnersFollow, communicate, and reinforce Hair Saloon’s standard operating proceduresFoster a positive, professional, team-oriented environment rooted in servant leadership

What We’re Looking For

Active Missouri cosmetology and/or barber licenseMinimum 3 years of experience in the hair industryPrior leadership or management experience requiredStrong communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsAbility to balance people leadership with business accountabilityComfort using retail computer technology and basic financial reportingFlexible availability, including a full-time schedule Monday through Saturday
