About Color Me Nash

Color Me Nash is a modern, welcoming salon opening in Nashville’s Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood. We are looking for an experienced, organized, and motivated Salon Manager to oversee daily operations, support our team, and help create an exceptional experience for every guest.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader who is comfortable managing people, bookings, inventory, sales goals, social media, and the day-to-day needs of a busy salon.

ResponsibilitiesDaily Salon Operations

Oversee the salon’s daily operations and front-desk flow.
Open and close the salon as scheduled.
Keep the salon organized, professional, and running smoothly.
Ensure cleaning duties and salon standards are consistently maintained.
Help resolve client concerns professionally and promptly.
Maintain a welcoming, elevated experience for every guest.

Client Care and Scheduling

Greet and check in clients.
Answer calls, texts, and booking inquiries.
Schedule, confirm, and adjust client appointments.
Help fill openings and maximize each stylist’s schedule.
Support client retention and rebooking.
Assist clients with service and product questions.

Team Leadership

Support, guide, and hold stylists and barbers accountable.
Help manage employee schedules, attendance, and punctuality.
Communicate salon policies and expectations clearly.
Lead team meetings and provide regular updates.
Help create a positive, respectful, and professional work environment.
Work with ownership to address team concerns and performance issues.
Complete manager goal sheets and track salon progress.

Inventory and Retail Management

Manage retail products, backbar supplies, hair color, and other salon inventory.
Monitor product usage and maintain accurate inventory counts.
Place or prepare supply orders before products run out.
Keep retail displays clean, organized, and fully stocked.
Track retail sales and help the team meet monthly retail goals.
Help reduce unnecessary product waste and control salon expenses.

Sales and Performance Goals

Track salon bookings, rebooking, retail sales, service sales, and other performance goals.
Help motivate the team to meet monthly salon goals.
Review performance reports and identify opportunities for improvement.
Work closely with ownership on monthly goals and bonus opportunities.

Social Media and Marketing

Manage the salon’s social-media schedule.
Help collect, organize, create, and post ongoing Reels and other approved content from the entire team.
Ensure each stylist and barber completes their required weekly social-media content.
Consistently promote salon services, products, team members, events, openings, and special offers.
Help maintain a professional and consistent Color Me Nash brand across Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms.
Assist with salon events, promotions, and community outreach.

Qualifications

Previous salon management, retail management, hospitality, or leadership experience preferred.
Salon or beauty-industry experience is strongly preferred.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
Comfortable managing and motivating a team.
Experience with scheduling, inventory, sales goals, and social media.
Comfortable creating and posting photo and video content.
Dependable, professional, positive, and able to take initiative.
Able to work approximately 40 hours per week, including some evenings and Saturdays as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

$25 per hour.
Approximately 40 hours per week.
Monthly bonus opportunities based on retail sales, service sales, and overall performance.
Two weeks of combined paid vacation and sick time annually.
