Salon Front Desk Receptionist The Babe Cave is a small, woman-owned waxing salon in Knoxville, TN specializing in women’s Brazilian and full-body waxing. We’re looking for a friendly, outgoing, and dependable Front Desk Receptionist to join our team part-time.

Our front desk is the first and last impression our clients receive, so we’re looking for someone who is warm, personable, organized, and comfortable interacting with clients throughout the day. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, can multitask in a busy salon environment, and isn’t afraid to jump in and help wherever needed.

Because we are a small, close-knit salon, personality and reliability are extremely important to us. We’re looking for someone who wants to become part of our team .

Responsibilities include:

Warmly greeting and checking clients in and out
Answering phone calls and client questions
Scheduling, rescheduling, and rebooking appointments
Helping clients understand services and maintaining basic knowledge of our offerings
Processing payments at checkout
Keeping the front desk organized and running smoothly
Cleaning and maintaining common salon areas
Laundry and other daily salon duties
Helping maintain the clean, welcoming atmosphere of The Babe Cave
Communicating effectively with aestheticians and helping keep the daily schedule on track

We’re looking for someone who is:

Organized and able to multitask
Comfortable answering phones and communicating professionally with clients
Confident using computers and learning scheduling/checkout software
Comfortable with cleaning, laundry, and general salon upkeep
A team player who notices what needs to be done and takes initiative

Schedule:
Tuesday–Thurday 2:30-6:30, Friday 2:30-5:00
Saturday 10:00-2:00 with rotating Saturdays off

Sunday & Monday: Salon closed

Closed on major holidays
Salon or front desk experience is a plus, but not required for the right person. Training will be provided.
