Role Description The Salon Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based at Today's Headlines Salon in Strongsville, OH. This position is responsible for greeting guests, managing check-ins and check-outs, and creating a welcoming front desk experience. Day-to-day duties include answering phones with professional etiquette, scheduling and confirming appointments, and maintaining accurate records in the booking system. The Salon Coordinator supports stylists by organizing the appointment calendar, handling payments, and assisting with general receptionist duties such as maintaining a tidy lobby area. This role also involves addressing guest inquiries, resolving minor service concerns, and ensuring that all visitors receive courteous and efficient customer service.

Qualifications

Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with guests and team members.Experience or aptitude in phone etiquette and appointment scheduling, including managing multiple calls and bookings efficiently.Background in receptionist duties or front desk operations, such as greeting guests, managing check-ins/outs, and handling payments.Solid organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in records and scheduling.Comfort working in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment and collaborating with a team.Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with scheduling or point-of-sale systems preferred.Previous experience in a salon, spa, or hospitality setting is beneficial but not required.Reliable attendance and the ability to work a consistent full-time schedule, including possible evenings and weekends as needed.
