Salon Concierge & Guest Services

Define Hair & Skin is currently seeking a Salon Concierge/Guest Services Specialist in our multi-service salon and spa company to work a mix of daytime and evening hours with rotating Saturdays. THIS IS NOT A SEASONAL POSITION, BUT A REGULAR ONGOING POSITION.

Our approach is 100% hands-on, and this is not your typical salon reception position. Our full concierge approach offers all mobile technology, a "front desk less" customer facing (standing) environment, where managing customer care & salon flow is our top priority.

Ideal candidates must have a charismatic, friendly personality, enjoy and excel at sales offerings, guest handling and care, and intuitively manage salon flow & multiple departments. Previous salon front desk a PLUS or customer care experience required. This multi-faceted, dynamic position is equal parts customer care & sales, and is the pulse of our salon company. We will provide you with the tools and training necessary to excel in this role, and the ideal applicant must bring a willingness to learn and an openness to coaching and feedback for optimal success!

Essential Duties

Sales & General Concierge

Measure total salon goals for daily service, retail sales and gift cards to hit monthly targetsActively promote salon services, retail, and special offerings while displaying an exceptional knowledge of products and servicesEffectively manage artists' schedules, scheduling appointments, initiating appointment reservations in salonMaintain and restock all guest areas such as coffee/snack bar, retail space, and promotional displaysGuest Experience

Proactively build lasting relationships with guests to ensure satisfaction and increase retentionReceive guest concerns and determine proper course of actionMaintain highest professional standards of service, appearance, and behaviorEnsure guests’ needs are consistently met in a courteous and timely fashion during each visit utilizing the 7 point service modelDefine Team Benefits
