Salon Cleanliness Associate

Job Overview

We are a busy, upscale salon in downtown Detroit and we are looking for someone who takes pride in keeping a clean and welcoming environment for our clients and staff.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain the salon throughout the day and/or at closing
Sweep throughout the day and mop the floors nightly
Clean bathrooms and common areas
Empty trash and recycling daily
Dust and wipe down surfaces throughout the day
Clean mirrors, glass, and high-touch areas
Keep up with laundry (towels, capes, aprons, smocks)
Clean mixing bowls, toner bottles, color brushes, and whisks throughout the day

Requirements

Reliable and dependable
Able to work independently and efficiently
Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred
Ability to perform manual handling tasks
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete daily cleaning routines
Comfortable working in a fast-paced salon environment
Professional and respectful attitude

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
