Responsibilities
Rent a dedicated booth or chair on a daily or weekly basis to serve your clients effectively
Deliver high-quality hair styling, coloring, hair extensions, and barbering services tailored to each client’s needs
Provide expert consultations on hair care, color theory, and current trends to ensure client satisfaction
Maintain impeccable sanitation standards and adhere to all health regulations for safety and hygiene
Manage client communication professionally, including scheduling appointments and upselling retail products
Utilize salon software like Glossgenious, MINDBODY, Licensed To Glow, Class Pass for appointment booking, client records, and retail sales tracking
Experience
Proven experience working in the beauty industry with strong skills in hair styling, coloring, and hair care techniques
Familiarity with salon software systems such as MINDBODY for scheduling and client management
Knowledge of sanitation practices and state cosmetology or barbering licensing requirements
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members to foster a welcoming environment
Experience with retail sales, upselling techniques, and retail math to maximize revenue opportunities
Skills in mentoring or guiding junior team members are a plus but not required
Prior experience with eyelash extensions, nail care, or advanced hair treatments like keratin smoothing is advantageous
