Salon Associate

The Salon Associate is a key member of the Zimoras team, delivering a luxury guest experience while supporting daily salon operations. Responsibilities include client hospitality, shampoo and blow-dry services, hair treatment application, stylist support, salon cleanliness, and retail assistance. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about beauty, customer service, and growing a career in the salon industry.

Essential ResponsibilitiesGuest Experience

Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism.
Escort guests, offer refreshments, and ensure their comfort.
Deliver exceptional customer service throughout each visit.
Assist with guest check-in and check-out as needed.

Salon Support

Perform luxury shampoos, conditioning treatments, scalp massages, and blow-dries.
Prepare guests for haircut, color, extension, wig, and styling services.
Apply hair treatments as directed.
Assist stylists before, during, and after appointments.
Prepare and maintain styling stations, shampoo bowls, and equipment.
Launder and organize salon linens.
Restock products and salon supplies.

Retail & Brand Support

Recommend professional haircare products.
Assist with retail sales and merchandising.
Promote salon memberships, loyalty programs, and special offers.
Support boutique retail operations as assigned.

Professional Standards

Follow Pennsylvania State Board sanitation and safety regulations.
Maintain a polished, professional appearance.
Protect client confidentiality.
Participate in ongoing education and product training.

QualificationsRequired

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Passion for beauty, wellness, and luxury service.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Professional appearance and reliable attendance.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and work evenings and weekends.

Preferred

Salon, spa, hospitality, retail, or customer service experience.
Current cosmetology student or Pennsylvania cosmetology license.
Experience with shampooing, blow-drying, and professional haircare products.
Retail sales and point-of-sale experience.
