Salon Assistant/Receptionist

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized licensed cosmetologist to join our dynamic team as Salon Assistant & Receptionist. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while managing a variety of salon operations, including assisting a master colorist and stylist.

This role requires strong communication skills and a passion for the beauty industry, as you will assist clients with appointments, product inquiries, and salon services.

Duties

Greet clients warmly as they enter the salon and provide them with a welcoming atmosphere and hospitality.Communicate effectively with stylists and technicians to coordinate client needs and preferences.Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the reception and overall salon area in accordance with health and safety standards.Manage appointment scheduling to ensure optimal service flow.Handle communication, emails, and messages promptly while providing accurate information about services offered, pricing, and timing.Develop vast product and service knowledge and process transactions for retail products and services.Promote salon products and services to enhance client experience and satisfaction.Requirements

Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred; experience in a salon environment is a plus.Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.Knowledge of hair coloring and highlighting, and knowledge of hair styling techniques, is beneficial.Familiarity with sanitation practices to maintain a clean work environment.Experience with front desk operations or administrative tasks is advantageous.Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.A passion for the beauty industry and eagerness to learn about new trends and techniques.Join us in creating an exceptional experience for our clients while working in a vibrant salon atmosphere!
