Salon Assistant / Future Hairstylist

Amy’s Hair Creations is looking for a motivated, dependable, and positive Salon Assistant/Future Hairstylist who is passionate about healthy hair care and wants to grow in the beauty industry.

This is more than an assistant position—it’s an opportunity to learn from experienced professionals, develop your skills, and eventually build your own clientele within our salon.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Shampooing and conditioning clients’ hairAssisting stylists during servicesGreeting and checking in clientsMaintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming salonFolding towels and keeping supplies stockedSweeping and sanitizing salon stationsTaking out trash and assisting with general salon upkeepAnswering phones and helping schedule appointments as neededBraiding hair when requestedProviding excellent customer service to every clientAssisting with other daily salon operations as neededQualifications

Pennsylvania cosmetology license preferred (or currently enrolled in cosmetology school if applicable)Passion for healthy hair care and continued educationProfessional appearance and positive attitudeStrong work ethic and willingness to learnExcellent customer service and communication skillsAbility to work well in a team environmentReliable, punctual, and organizedComfortable working in a fast-paced salonGrowth Opportunity

Job Type: Full-time or Part-time

Schedule: Flexible (including some Saturdays)

Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience, with opportunities for growth and advancement.

Pay: $80.00 - $100.00 per day
