Salon Assistant (part-time)

We are seeking kind, motivated, energetic individuals for two part-time Salon Assistant positions. If you are someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and thrives on being part of a team, we want to meet you! This position involves a multitude of tasks and responsibilities including but not limited to:

Welcoming and checking in clients
Ensuring clients are comfortable and attended to
Maintaining clean and sanitary work environment
Assisting stylists with shampooing, color mixing, blow drying and more
Selling retail products based on client needs and stylist recommendations
Checking out and re-booking clients upon their completed services
Assisting to properly manage and maintain inventory
Processing salon laundry as needed
Watching overall flow of the salon - "jumping in" and assisting wherever needed

Qualifications

- Strong communication skills

- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment

- Basic understanding of retail math

- Previous experience in a customer service role is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.05 - $18.00 per hour
