Salon Assistant

Job Summary Join our vibrant salon team as a Salon Assistant, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help create an exceptional experience for every client. Duties Greet clients warmly and assist with check-in Prepare workstations by sanitizing tools and ensuring all supplies are stocked and organized according to sanitation standards Assist with retail sales by recommending hair care products, and other beauty essentials through upselling techniques and retail math skills Maintain cleanliness of the salon environment, including sanitation of tools, chairs, and work areas in compliance with health regulations Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, offering refreshments, and ensuring a positive experience from check-in to check-out Previous experience in a salon or barbering environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for all technical skills Knowledge of hair styling techniques is advantageous Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members Ability to perform retail sales with confidence while demonstrating excellent customer service skills Basic understanding of sanitation practices within a beauty or grooming setting
