Responsibilities

Support licensed stylists with hair care services, including hair styling, coloring, extensions, and makeup application
Assist in maintaining salon sanitation standards to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff
Manage appointment scheduling using salon software such as MINDBODY, ensuring smooth client flow and efficient store management
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with clients, addressing inquiries, and communicating effectively to enhance their experience
Upsell additional services and retail products to clients in a friendly, professional manner to boost sales and client satisfaction
Prepare styling stations and tools for daily appointments, ensuring all equipment is clean and organized
Mentor new team members by sharing knowledge of hair care techniques, color theory, barbering basics like straight razor use, and overall salon procedures

Qualifications

Valid Cosmetology License required; barbering or related certifications are a plus
Experience working in the beauty industry with knowledge of hair styling, coloring, hair extensions, and makeup application
Familiarity with salon software such as MINDBODY or similar platforms for appointment management
Strong communication skills with the ability to connect confidently with clients and team members
Knowledge of sanitation practices essential for maintaining a safe salon environment
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while delivering exceptional customer service
Willingness to learn new techniques such as straight razor shaving or advanced hair coloring methods

Pay: $24.51 - $29.51 per hour
