SALON ASSISTANT
We are a busy, upbeat salon looking for a friendly, dependable, and hardworking Salon Assistant to join our team!
We would prefer a beauty school student, who has some previous experience in shampooing and assisting a salon.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, stays busy, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. We are happy to work around a school schedule!
Responsibilities include:
Shampooing clients
Greeting clients with a smile and making them feel welcome
Chatting with clients and helping create a fun, friendly atmosphere
Offering and serving clients coffee, water, or other beverages
Restocking retail products
Washing, drying & folding towels
Sweeping, cleaning & keeping the salon organized
Assisting stylists and helping wherever needed
We’re looking for someone who is:
At least 18 years old or enrolled in beauty school
Honest, dependable & punctual
Hardworking with a strong work ethic
Friendly, outgoing & comfortable interacting with clients
Able to multitask and take initiative
Positive, professional and a team player
