Job Description and Expectations

Summary:

The Salon and Spa Front Desk Coordinator is responsible for ensuring client and team engagement, and supporting management with daily operations to achieve revenue and growth goals.

Specific Responsibilities:

· Must be approachable, smiling, greeting, and welcoming clients and team members in person, over the phone, and through email correspondence.

· Keeping the salon and spa tidy and organized utilizing a daily checklist and hourly walk-throughs to acknowledge and address needs.

· Supporting team members with folding laundry, sweeping floor, stocking products etc.

· Serving beverages to clients, hanging coats, answering questions, scheduling appointments, and processing transactions.

· Promote the beauty and fashion industry through personal appearance and grooming.

· Ability to confidently articulate and educate clients on services, products, policies, and promotions.

· Must be self-motivated, enjoy multi-tasking, be reliable and punctual.

· Ability to resolve issues and deescalate situations in a calm and professional manner

Financial Responsibilities:

Assist the salon and spa in meeting and exceeding goals through the following:

· Encouraging every client to prebook their appointments

· Promptly assisting clients with scheduling, rescheduling, and booking issues

· Any concerns if not addressable are escalated to management in a timely manner

· Ensuring all retail items are stocked, shelves are clean, and displays maintained

· Assist in achieving retail sales goals by mentioning take home products to every client and/or reinforcing team recommendations

· Assist overall in achieving service goals by introducing add-on services when scheduling

Pay: $18.40 per hour
