Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in cosmetology and esthetic treatments, including skincare, facials, makeup application, and body waxing
Supervise and mentor students during practical applications to ensure safety, technique accuracy, and professional standards
Teach a variety of skills such as hair styling, hair coloring, hair extensions, threading, eyelash extensions, and nail care
Demonstrate advanced techniques like dermabrasion, and advanced facial treatments
Develop detailed lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards that foster student learning and confidence
Assess student progress through evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support their growth
Maintain a positive classroom environment that encourages creativity, professionalism, and respect among students
Skills
Extensive knowledge of skincare, esthetic treatments, and body therapies such as massage therapy and trigger point therapy
Proven experience working in the beauty industry with expertise in salon services including hair styling, coloring, extensions, and barbering
Strong background in teaching or mentoring students in adult education settings with effective lesson planning skills
Ability to supervise students safely during practical sessions while fostering a motivating learning atmosphere
Familiarity with anatomy relevant to cosmetology and esthetics to enhance instructional quality
Skilled in performing advanced aesthetics and dermabrasion and dermaplaning
