We are looking for an experienced Retail Store Manager to join our growing team. JOB REQUIREMENTS:

All candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED); attend regularly scheduled manager meetings, and be able to lift up to 25 pounds. Previous experience in retail store management preferred.

The Store Manager is ultimately responsible for the sales and financial performance of their stores. A typical store has a crew of 1 – 3 associates, with approximately $100,000 of inventory. The store manager achieves their financial goals by ensuring that their staff is properly trained and motivated; by providing excellent and consistent customer service, by controlling inventory; and controlling the costs associated with running a store.

Recruit, hire, orient, train and develop team of sales associates.
Provide leadership, set goals and manage performance of store sales associate team.
Maintain excellence by planning, monitoring, coaching, counseling, and appraising job results.
Achieve financial objectives by adhering to an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
Establish and promote effective internal sales specials on a regular basis.
Manage inventory levels and receipt of goods.
Respond to customer queries and complaints.
Maintain operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

The ideal candidate will have at least two years experience managing a retail or wholesale store, preferably in a boutique or small-format environment. A cosmetology license or experience in cosmetology is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
