Responsibilities

Manage your own client appointments, providing exceptional hair styling, coloring, and grooming services including hair extensions, balayage, highlights, and precision cuts.
Maintain a clean, sanitized workspace in strict adherence to health and safety standards, including sanitation of tools and equipment such as straight razors and scissors.
Utilize salon software systems like MINDBODY for scheduling appointments, processing payments, and managing client records efficiently.
Offer expert consultations on color theory, hair care routines, and styling techniques to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
Promote retail sales by upselling hair care products, styling tools, and add-on services such as eyelash extensions or nail care treatments.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about their desired looks and aftercare instructions.
Support store management with front desk duties when needed, including greeting clients and managing appointment flow.
Mentor junior stylists or apprentices when appropriate to foster a collaborative environment focused on growth and skill development.

Requirements

Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience in hair styling and haircutting techniques.
Proficiency in advanced services such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, hair threading, and makeup application is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of color theory and sanitation practices to ensure safe and high-quality services.
Familiarity with salon software platforms like MINDBODY for booking and retail management.
Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team members.
Experience in retail sales, upselling techniques, and retail math to maximize revenue opportunities.
Ability to work independently as a rental stylist while maintaining professionalism and punctuality.

Pay: $22.80 - $27.46 per hour
