State Beauty Supply, a proud sub-distributor of SalonCentric and part of the L'Oréal USA family, is seeking an exceptional Professional Beauty Sales Consultant to serve licensed salon professionals throughout Lexington.

Beauty industry experience is a plus—but a proven track record of building relationships, achieving sales goals, and delivering exceptional customer experiences is what matters most.

What You'll Do Drive Sales & Grow Customer Success

Develop lasting relationships with licensed salon professionals.
Discover customer needs and recommend products, education, and business solutions that help them grow.
Introduce customers to promotions, new product launches, education, and events.
Consistently achieve and exceed individual and team sales goals.
Increase average ticket, customer loyalty, and product knowledge through consultative selling.
Create an experience that keeps customers coming back.

Become a Trusted Business Partner

Help customers make informed purchasing decisions that improve both their salon results and profitability.
Share industry trends, product innovations, and educational opportunities.
Inspire confidence by becoming the professional customers rely on for advice and solutions.

Become a Product Expert

Continuously expand your knowledge of professional hair color, haircare, skincare, styling, barbering, and beauty trends.
Participate in manufacturer education and training.
Confidently demonstrate product benefits and recommend complete solutions.

Support Store Operations

Process transactions accurately and efficiently.
Replenish merchandise and maintain exceptional visual presentation.
Participate in inventory counts and merchandising.
Open and close the store as a Key Holder while ensuring operational excellence.
Support both Lexington locations as part of one collaborative team.

Qualifications

Proven success in sales, retail sales, hospitality, business development, or customer service.
Demonstrated ability to achieve goals and build strong customer relationships.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
Comfortable using POS and computer systems.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
Ability to stand and walk throughout scheduled shifts.
Weekend availability as business needs require.
Ability to work at both Lexington locations.

Compensation

$15.00–$16.50 per hour

In addition to competitive hourly pay, you'll have the opportunity to earn monthly performance incentives by achieving key business metrics, including sales KPIs and Average Ticket goals. We believe exceptional performance should be recognized and rewarded.
