The Pet Groomer & Salon Development Leader is responsible for delivering exceptional service to pet parents and fostering a high-performance team. This role emphasizes professional quality services while maintaining a strong focus on pet care. You will guide and mentor new bathers and stylists throughout their development journey.

Key Responsibilities

People Leadership: Support and enhance the associate experience through training, mentoring, and coaching. Help fellow team members grow in their roles and provide essential feedback for performance reviews.Salon Operation: Ensure an exceptional experience for pet parents whether in person, over the phone, or online. Assist in answering inquiries and recommend wellness solutions based on their pets' needs.Grooming Expertise: Execute a full range of grooming services safely and effectively, adhering to PetSmart’s standards.Sales Growth: Promote salon services to achieve sales targets and boost productivity, while maintaining a clean and safe environment for all pets.Qualifications

A minimum of 2 years grooming experience required.Full-time availability with a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Proficient in using grooming tools and safely handling pets.Strong computer skills and excellent communication abilities.Ability to maintain composure under pressure while being detail-oriented.Work Environment & Physical Demands

Must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.Handle animals in various conditions, including exposure to moving machinery and a moderate noise level.Make a Difference Every Day
