The Dalina Way is a boutique hair studio in Toluca Lake specializing in healthy hair first: lived-in blonding, extensions, and personalized color. We're a small, elevated team that takes client care seriously and keeps the energy warm, professional, and drama-free.
**The role**
We're hiring a part-time salon assistant to support the owner behind the chair two days a week. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to learn extensions, blonding, and how a real boutique salon runs — from someone with 20 years behind the chair, including years as a platform educator and celebrity stylist.
**Responsibilities**
- Shampoos, blowouts, and finishing support
- Assisting with color application, toners, glosses, and foils
- Extension maintenance support (takedown, move-ups, installs)
- Keeping the client experience seamless: greetings, beverages, comfort checks
- Sanitation, station resets, laundry, back-bar and retail restock
- Helping capture content (photos/video during appointments)
- Light admin: appointment confirmations, supply lists, inventory counts
**Requirements (non-negotiable)**
- Active California cosmetology license
- Reliable car and ability to commute to Toluca Lake consistently
- Available 2 full days per week (days TBD with owner)
- Positive, punctual, and genuinely hungry to learn
