Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Part Time Hair Stylist to join our team, providing customers with flawless haircuts and hairstyles and helping them to look their best! As a Hairstylist, you will provide hair cuts using basic and advanced techniques. You’ll have the creative opportunity to discuss the best products and hairstyles for each individual client’s needs and preferences. Most importantly, you will make it your goal to ensure that every customer leaves our salon feeling great about their new look and happy with the services you provided.
Responsibilities
Evaluate each customers’ face shape, hair features, and personal preferences to recommend appropriate haircuts and hairstyles.
Wash hair at hair washing stations with appropriate products
Apply hair treatment products
Execute flawless haircuts, trims, and shaves
Apply highlights, ombre, balayage, and other hair coloring techniques
Provide customers with a wide range of hair styling options, from formal to casual
Bridal and special occasion makeup
Qualifications
Successful completion of a cosmetology school is required
In-depth knowledge of hair cutting techniques and best practices including for both Men and Women
Skilled at hair coloring, straightening, and curling techniques
Familiar with a variety of treatment products
Up-to-date with trends in fashion and beauty
Weekend Availability including Saturday and Sunday
