Operations Specialist

(Part-Time | In Person)

$23-$25 per hour | 20 hours/week

We are downtown Raleigh's largest hybrid chair and suite rental salon at over 8,000 square feet and 30+ providers. Our professional team features a diverse array of beauty and wellness providers that are the triangle's best. Our model centers around environmental sustainability, collaboration over competition, community inclusivity, and world-renowned beauty education.

The Operations Specialist will report to the owners and help manage the onsite operations of The Hightide Salon rental business and DRFT Scalp Facial Spa.

You will have the opportunity to guide the decisions we make and help the business grow. If you have experience with small businesses and EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) even better!

The ideal candidate has at least 2+ years’ experience in management, operations, employee communications, small business, and financial oversight. Retail experience is a plus. This individual will help with front-house operations, renter relations, client out reach, event planning, product management, inventory management, team communications, culture keeper, and back-office operations.

If you are someone that is highly organized and hands-on, this is the job for you! Must also love spreadsheets and be great with a computer. Direct and candid communicators appreciated.

Required Qualifications

2+ years in small business administration and
Premier customer service and client experience
Proficiency in Square POS, and Google Workspace
Strong spreadsheet and reporting skills
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage up
Able to lift 40 pounds and unpack boxes of products daily as needed
Process development + enhancement
