Job Overview

Hippocrates Wellness is seeking an experienced, service-driven, and inspiring Oasis Spa & Salon Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our Spa & Salon. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for customer service, and extensive knowledge of retail management, treatment services, and team supervision. This role involves managing staff, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining operational excellence across all spa and salon functions.

Responsibilities

Assist in the daily management and operation of the Oasis Spa & Salon.
Lead, coach, motivate, and support Spa & Salon team members to achieve exceptional guest satisfaction.
Ensure all Spa & Salon operations meet Hippocrates Wellness standards for service, cleanliness, safety, and professionalism.
Support scheduling, staffing, and daily operational planning.
Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance development.
Oversee the Spa & Salon reception area, appointment scheduling, guest check-in/check-out, and daily workflow.
Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally while creating memorable guest experiences.
Support inventory management, retail merchandising, and product ordering.
Promote Spa & Salon services, wellness programs, memberships, and retail products.
Ensure compliance with sanitation standards, Company policies, and applicable health regulations.
Coordinate daily operations with Guest Services, Medical, Housekeeping, Engineering, Culinary, and other departments.
Prepare operational reports and assist with departmental goals and initiatives.
Step into operational roles as needed to support the team and business demands.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Skills

Proven management experience within spa or retail environments with supervisory responsibilities.
Strong knowledge of retail sales techniques, inventory management, pricing strategies, and merchandising.
Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly desirable.
Proficiency with POS systems, bookkeeping software, payroll processing, and basic math calculations.
Demonstrated leadership in team management, employee orientation, training & development initiatives.
Effective organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
Experience in operational management including budgeting, marketing, stock control, and sales management within a retail or wellness context.
