Duties

Perform a variety of hair services including cuts, styling, coloring, and extensions with precision and flair
Assist clients with hair treatments such as hair threading, eyelash extensions, and nail care to enhance their overall look
Utilize salon software to schedule appointments, process transactions, and manage client records efficiently
Provide expert advice on hair care products and retail items through upselling strategies to boost sales and client satisfaction
Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning tools, stations, and work areas in accordance with health regulations
Offer personalized consultations on color theory, hair styling techniques, and current trends to ensure client expectations are exceeded
Support store management with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing appointments, and handling retail sales

Requirements

Valid cosmetology or barbering license with a strong foundation in hair styling and haircutting techniques
Experience or training in hair extensions, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and nail care is highly desirable
Knowledge of salon software systems for appointment booking and retail management
Proficiency in sanitation practices to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff
Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team members
Demonstrated ability in retail math for upselling products confidently while maintaining excellent customer service
Ability to mentor junior team members and contribute positively to a collaborative team environment
