In this role it will be your job to look after your clients nails with manicures, pedicures and other nail treatments. Your tasks will include maintaining the nail bed, giving exceptional hand and foot massages, applying various nail treatments and extensions as well as specializing in nail art.

Responsibilities

Performing manicures and pedicuresWill need to examine and evaluate the condition and appearance of nails to provide advice on proper nail careUsing special tools and electrical equipment on nail enhancementsMaintaining safe work practices and hygiene standardsProviding advice about nail productsAbility to answer client questions and teach them how to maintain the treatments that you apply to their nailsGreet everyone in salon with integrity, courtesy, and a friendly smileDisplay confidence and professionalism at all timesInteract cooperatively with other team members to provide a seamless customer experiencePresent an exemplary professional standard in dress, personal grooming, hairstyle, makeup, language and healthy lifestyleAnticipate the needs of the guests and provide them with utmost assistanceAbility to educate guest on the services and products needed to properly maintain the looks and goals of each guest.Ability to have flexibility and effectively multitaskHigh level of organizational skillsWhen not servicing clients, tend to additional job responsibilitiesMaintain high energy in order to work effectively in a fast paced environmentComplete each service within the time frame designated for our levelContinuously promote yourself, the spa, and the salon to ensure that you are growing productivelyMaintain opening and closing dutiesPractice the highest standard of sanitation and tidinessMaintain acceptable level of cleanliness of workstation, surrounding area, and equipment as required by lawFollow health code procedures, including equipment sanitization/ sterilizationMaintain towels, supplies, and environmentParticipate in all coaching, salon/ company meetings, and training sessionsKnow pricing, services, and policies of the Salon + Spa and have the ability to sell and upgradeFollow Greenleaf Hospitality Group proceduresAll other duties that the Spa General Manager has set forthRequirements

2+ years of experience in similar rolePolly gel and builder gel experience preferredAbility to work independentlyAttention to detail and strong desire for continued growth and developmentKnowledge of nail care, techniques, products and toolsAble to stand for long periods of time, up to 8 hours or moreBe licensed in treatments that are required to perform on clienteleExcellent customer service skillsAble to stoop and bendAble to lift up to 40 pounds from time to timeAble to safely work with potentially dangerous chemicals and equipmentAble to comply with safety and health code standardsAble to handle responsibilities that require repetitive motion tasksNice-to-haves
