LaTresha Rená Salon and Spa is seeking an upbeat and organized Nail Technician to join our team. We are a high-end salon and spa that specializes in providing luxurious treatments to our customers.
As a Nail Technician at our salon, you will be responsible for providing quality nail care services such as manicures, pedicures, and acrylic nail treatments. In addition, you will ensure a clean and safe working environment by sanitizing tools and maintaining a sterile environment. You will also be selling products related to nail care and taking payments for completed services.
To be considered for this position, you should possess excellent interpersonal skills and be passionate about nail care. You should also be a team player, and be able to work flexibly in order to meet customer demand. Previous experience working in a salon or spa environment will be considered an asset.

Responsibilities
Paint fingernails and toenails Clean, cut and shape nails Recommend colors, rhinestones and designs based on each customer’s style Remove previously applied polish Prepare and clean beauty station in-between appointments Sterilize equipment before use Inform clients about additional services and offers (e.g. loyalty discounts, eyebrow waxing) Give hand and foot massages Offer nail care treatment tips (e.g. how to strengthen nails and how to make manicures last longer) Up-sell treatments and beauty products, when appropriate Take an interest in customers (e.g. chatting with them during appointments and remembering their preferences) Schedule Management Clean & organize Answer phone/ respond to customers when needed Participate in salon events
Requirements
Proven work experience as a Nail Technician, Manicurist or similar role Expertise in basic and advanced nail techniques, including French manicures, airbrushing and gel manicures Knowledge of cosmetology trends Understanding of sanitation and sterilization standards Experience in customer service High school diploma Certification in Cosmetology or Nail Art is a plus
