Overview Responsibilities Perform a wide range of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, and nail art with precision and artistry Maintain strict sanitation standards to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff Engage with clients to understand their needs, recommend appropriate treatments, and upsell retail products effectively Manage appointment schedules using salon software Stay current on industry trends such as nail care innovations, color theory, and new techniques like 3D nail art or encapsulation Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing reservations Promote retail sales by educating clients on product benefits and new offerings to enhance their experience Qualifications Valid NC , Nail tech or cosmetology , license with specialization in nail care from an accredited program Proven experience in performing professional nail services with a strong portfolio of work Knowledge of sanitation protocols and ability to maintain a sterile work environment Excellent communication skills to connect with diverse clients and team members Familiarity with salon management software Passion for ongoing education in nail artistry, new techniques like eyelash extensions or body waxing, and overall beauty trends
