Nail Technician

Nail Technician Job Description Commission-based pay — tips are yours. We are looking for a skilled and experienced Nail Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate has an active client base, a passion for nail care, and the ability to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed. Duties Provide nail care services to clients, including manicures, pedicures, and nail extensions Clean, trim, and shape nails to client's preference Apply polish or gel nails and ensure a smooth and even finish Offer additional services such as nail art, nail repair, and nail or hand treatments Maintain a clean and sanitary work area Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in nail care Requirements Valid certification or license as a Nail Technician (at least 1 year) Proven experience working as a Nail Technician (portfolio or social media handles required) Must have existing clientele In-depth knowledge of nail care techniques and products Strong attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity Ability to provide exceptional customer service and create a positive client experience Excellent communication skills to understand client preferences and provide appropriate recommendations Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively Strong customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction and build a loyal customer base Understanding of retail math to accurately calculate prices and process payments Upselling skills to promote additional services or products to clients Nail care experience: 3 years (Required) High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
