Job Overview

As a Nail Technician/Manicurist, you’ll help clients feel confident and cared for through personalized nail services. You’ll consult with each client, recommend suitable treatments, and deliver polished results while maintaining a clean, safe service area. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys hands-on beauty work, attentive customer service, and building lasting client relationships.

Duties

Provide manicures, pedicures, gel manicures, nail care, nail extensions, and acrylic nail applications based on client preferences.
Discuss desired styles, explain service options, and use color theory to guide polish and design choices.
Follow salon safety protocols and complete sanitation and disinfection procedures for tools, workstations, and service areas.
Recommend relevant products or services through helpful retail sales and upselling, using accurate retail math.

Skills

Essential: Strong customer service, client communication, and communication skills; knowledge of nail care, sanitation, and safe service practices.
Preferred: Experience working in the beauty industry, cosmetology knowledge, and skill in gel manicures, nail extensions, pedicures, and acrylic nail application.
Additional beauty experience is welcome, including hair extensions, hair threading, body waxing, hair styling, eyelash extensions, esthetic laser treatment, dermabrasion, or barbering.

Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
