Julianna Salon is seeking a highly experienced Master Stylist to join our team. This role is designed for a seasoned professional with a minimum of 7+ years behind the chair who demonstrates advanced technical skill, strong client retention, and a commitment to continued growth.

As a Master Stylist, you will not only deliver exceptional services but also serve as a premium example and role model within the salon; setting the standard for guest experience, artistry, and professionalism. Julianna Salon is an established, education driven salon in the Rochester community, offering a wide range of services including curly hair specialization, extensions, and gel nail services.

Compensation Note:
This position is commission-based, reflective of an established or quickly growing clientele. A temporary hourly structure may be offered while building clientele.

Responsibilities
• Deliver elevated, customized hair services including precision cutting, advanced coloring, styling, and treatments
• Lead in-depth consultations that build trust, manage expectations, and create long-term client relationships
• Maintain a strong, loyal clientele and actively grow your book through retention and referrals
• Serve as a role model and mentor in the salon, supporting and encouraging skill development and team growth
• Stay at the forefront of industry trends, techniques, and education
• Uphold an exceptional standard of cleanliness, organization, and professionalism
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and high-performing salon culture
• Drive retail performance through personalized product recommendations and education

Qualifications & Skills
• Advanced mastery of cutting, coloring, and styling techniques
• Deep understanding of color theory and corrective work
• Strong consultation, communication, and client experience skills
• Proven ability to build and sustain a high-performing clientele
• Leadership mindset with a willingness to mentor and support team members
• High level of professionalism, accountability, and attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
