Master Cosmetologist/Director of Cosmetology & Salon Development

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Master Cosmetologist to lead the growth and development of our salon’s hair department. This leadership role is ideal for a passionate beauty professional who excels in providing exceptional hair services, mentoring talented stylists, and driving the overall success of the salon’s hair division. Duties

Deliver high-quality, professional hair services to clients, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
Recruit, mentor, and develop hairstylists to enhance their skills and career growth.
Lead the hair department by setting standards for service excellence, professionalism, and customer care.
Develop and implement strategies for salon growth, including marketing initiatives and client retention programs.
Monitor salon operations to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Collaborate with owners on staff scheduling, training programs, and performance evaluations.
Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and product innovations to maintain a competitive edge.
Foster a positive team environment that encourages creativity, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Valid state cosmetology license with extensive experience as a Master Cosmetologist.
Proven leadership skills with experience mentoring or managing a team of stylists.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to motivate staff and connect with clients.
Passionate about the beauty industry with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Demonstrated ability to develop business strategies that promote growth within the salon environment.
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.

***Compensation is structured based on experience, clientele and leadership responsibilities. Total compensation may include base/hourly compensation, service commission, retail commission and Salon performance-based profit sharing. Final compensation package will be discussed with qualified candidates.

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
