Duties

Provide comprehensive hair styling services including cutting, coloring, styling, and hair extensions using advanced techniques such as balayage, highlights, and color theory principles.
Perform specialized treatments like eyelash extensions, nail care, makeup application, and hair threading to enhance client beauty routines.
Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking.
Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools and workstations according to health regulations.
Offer personalized consultations to assess client needs and recommend suitable services or retail products through effective upselling strategies.
Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, booking appointments, and handling retail transactions with retail math proficiency.
Mentor junior team members on technical skills like straight razor shaves, hair extensions application, and store management practices to foster a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

Valid state cosmetology license with experience in cosmetology services.
Proficiency in hair styling techniques including color theory, hair extensions application, and hair cutting.
Strong knowledge of salon software such as GlossGenius for scheduling and retail management.
Excellent communication skills with an ability to connect with diverse clients and team members.
Demonstrated expertise in sanitation procedures to ensure a safe salon environment.
Experience in retail sales with a focus on upselling beauty products effectively.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $87,355.88 per year
