Role Description The Master Cosmetologist role at By Jessica & Co Beauty Lounge is a full-time, on-site position located in Pooler, GA. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing a range of cosmetology services such as hair cutting, styling, coloring, and treatments, as well as offering skincare, nail, or other beauty services within the scope of licensure. The Master Cosmetologist will consult with clients to understand their needs, recommend appropriate services and products, and maintain a high standard of hygiene and safety. Additional responsibilities include managing appointment schedules, supporting retail product sales, and contributing to a positive, professional salon atmosphere. The role also involves staying current with industry trends, techniques, and best practices to deliver consistent, high-quality results.

Qualifications

Active Master Cosmetologist license in the state of Georgia and compliance with all state board regulations.Demonstrated experience in core cosmetology services, including hair cutting, coloring, styling, and chemical treatments.Strong client consultation skills, with the ability to understand client preferences and recommend suitable services and products.Commitment to cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards in a salon environment.Professional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building and maintaining client relationships.Ability to work full time on-site in Pooler, GA, including potential evenings and weekends as required by the salon schedule.Experience with booking systems, time management, and maintaining an organized work area.Interest in ongoing education, staying current with beauty trends, and participating in training or workshops.Prior experience in a salon or spa setting is preferred but not required; a strong portfolio or demonstration of skills is beneficial.
