Duties

Provide expert barbering services including traditional cuts, fades, straight razor shaves, and grooming treatments tailored to each client’s preferences.
Perform advanced hair styling techniques such as blowouts, updos, and creative cuts for special occasions.
Apply hair coloring, highlights, balayage, and manage hair extensions with precision and artistry.
Conduct consultations to understand client needs, recommend suitable styles, and communicate aftercare instructions clearly.
Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by sterilizing tools, sanitizing workstations, and adhering to health regulations.
Utilize salon software like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently.
Upsell retail products such as hair care items, styling tools, and nail or eyelash extension services to enhance client experience and salon revenue.
Mentor junior stylists by sharing techniques on hair threading, makeup application, nail care, and customer service excellence.
Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, booking appointments, and ensuring a smooth flow of daily operations.

Experience

Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a licensed cosmetologist or barber with a strong portfolio of diverse styles.
Extensive knowledge of haircutting techniques including barbering skills like straight razor shaves and beard trimming.
Familiarity with salon management software such as MINDBODY or similar platforms for scheduling and client management.
Strong understanding of hair care products, color theory, hair coloring techniques, and retail math for upselling opportunities
Excellent communication skills to connect with clients effectively and provide personalized recommendations.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of sanitation and professionalism.
