Responsibilities

Deliver expert hair styling, coloring, hair extensions, and hair care treatments tailored to each client’s needs and preferences
Perform precise barbering services including straight razor shaves and traditional grooming techniques
Manage client consultations to understand their desired look and provide professional recommendations based on color theory and current trends
Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness according to industry regulations
Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client records, and retail sales tracking
Mentor and train junior stylists on techniques like hair threading, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and nail care
Upsell retail products effectively by educating clients on hair care routines and retail math principles

Skills

Extensive experience working in the beauty industry with a strong portfolio of hair styling and coloring work
Proficiency in salon software systems like MINDBODY for managing appointments and client information
Skilled in hair extensions, hair threading, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and nail care techniques
Deep understanding of sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
Knowledge of color theory to achieve precise color matching and creative results
Ability to communicate clearly with clients, listen actively, and provide personalized recommendations
Strong store management skills including retail sales, upselling, retail math, front desk duties, and client communication
Experience mentoring team members to foster skill development and professional growth
